Passions

The Passions lie between Name-givers and the universe. They are all the emotions that dwell within us and all the emotions we share with the world.

Forthian, Questor of Floranuus

Background Information

Astendar Chorrolis Dis Floranuus
Garlen Jaspree Lochost Mynbruje
Raggok Thystonius Upandal Vestrial

This change to the Cleric is to reflect the fact that while questors are common in Barsaive, divine magic is not very strong. A Questor that has the ability to raise the dead and do many of the higher level “miracles”  that are common in D&D are very, very rare in Barsaive. Think of the Cleric (Questor from here on out) as a specialty class.

To be a questor in Barsaive you must have reached the 5th level in your class. This includes NPC classes, as non-adepts may become Questors. When taking questor as a multi-class it is considered to be a specialty class with 8 levels.

You may go beyond the 8th level with the GM permission. If you multi-class beyond 8th level questor I suggest an automatic 20% experience point penalty from then on.

Very few people in Barsaive dedicate their entire lives to the passions those few are thought to have the blood of passions flowing in their veins.

Note: There is no Discipline for the Questors as they do not have to be Adepts. I may at a later time convert the Questor abilities from the Earthdawn Companion to D20. To allow a more D&D feel arrange it with the GM and start a character at 1st level as a questor they may continue past 8th level and not take an experience point penalty.
